Tuesday opens her swap gift from Mo-Dell & Hugosdaughter

Hi!  Tuesday's swap package from Mo-Dell & hugosdaughter arrived when it was supposed to, but my downstairs neighbor received it instead.  She gave it to me a couple days later, and it had been sitting in my living room while I hunted around for my replacement camera (I lost the first one last month, and after looking everywhere for it, I finally sprung for another one.  And then I misplaced it for awhile also.)  I really would lose my head were it not attached to my body.  Anyway, here are some photos of Tuesday and her swap goodies!

"Oh, you mean it's actually time to open this?  I thought all we would ever do is stare at it while it sat on the table for days."


”Who needs Santa when I’ve got Mo-Dell & hugosdaughter?!


”Holy crap!  It’s my very own press release!  This is the best thing ever!”


”Oh…these snowflake earrings must be for you.  But I’m calling dibs on the box—it’s the perfect size to put my accessories in.  So don’t get too attached to it.”


”More stuff for you—here’s some coffee!  I know you can’t function without it.  It was really thoughtful of Mo-Dell & hugosdaughter to get you some gifts too, considering it was my swap.”


”Hey—it’s a punk teddy bear!  I guess that means Misa can have her ragdoll back…nah, I’ll just hang on to it still.”


After all the individual packages were unwrapped, we laid out all the contents on the tissue paper.  So many cute pieces!  Tuesday never dreamed of being this spoiled.  


The attention to detail is incredible—Mo-Dell & hugosdaughter included a guitar stand decorated in a skull motif.  TuesDay is kinda upset because I seem to have misplaced her prized guitar.  So for now, she’s using the stand to hold her backup axe.


”I don’t know what to try on first…I love everything here.”  (This is a very cute skull dress with a mesh overskirt, black tights and the stompy boots that had been on TuesDay’s wishlist).


”Yup…I love this outfit too!”  (This one is a little black dress that could be worn by itself, but Tuesday has it paired up with a red & black plaid miniskirt and studded belt).


The black dress works with the overskirt also.  


”This hat, though.  It’s just so me!”  (The hat is adorable and goes with everything.  This time around, TuesDay’s wearing a red tube top and the plaid miniskirt.)


And here is TuesDay in a gray/silver top with beaded details and the black mesh overskirt.  You can’t really tell in the photo, but she has on really cute black lace boyshorts, which were also included in the swap!


”Seriously, this is so awesome!  I’ll be right back…”


”Thank you, Mo-Dell & hugosdaughter for making my holiday season so very happy!”  In a rare show of good will, TuesDay is actually letting the other girls borrow her new clothes.  Pretty sure that Misa’s trying to take her doll back…

I love Tuesdays outfit in the first photo. Is this from a pattern or did you design it? I would love to make something similar for my girls.

I think that the ability of all the different items to be combined into a variety of outfits is genius! Tuesday will not run out of clothing options--she'll never again say "I don't have anything to wear!"

Of course she will.  We can never have enough cute doll clothes.

Thank you all for the kind comments on the outfits.  I retired this year and spend much of my time crafting - I could never have done this if I was working and had a "real life."

I am a very happy retiree and love to share my crafts with those that are appreciative of the effort involved. I have found a great group of doll/craft enthusiasts here.  I am learning so much from all of you.

What a lot of great stuff! And I want to see this band performance!

What a great bunch of separates! Not only can she get a bunch of outfits out of what's there, but she can also combine them with other things she already has.
