Virtual New Year's Eve Party?

Anyone game for finishing out Dal's big anniversary year with a virtual New Year's Eve party?  The party would take place on New Year's Eve in Dal time only.  I'm thinking it should take place over a couple of weeks, so everyone has plenty of time to participate.  

I've wanted to try this for several years and never quite got around to it.  It would also give you an excuse to make the Chyntia's party setting craft for a backdrop for any photos you might want to take: https://thedalhouse.forumactif.org/t3801-party-setting-for-the-birthday-bash and maybe your Dal would want to wear a dress from one of the Project Runway challenges.  

It will start when I post the invitation and party preparations can begin.  Maybe your Dal will want to invite a special friend or two or go shopping for something to wear or make some food to bring along.

I may also try kick off one on the Dolly Market, so you would be able to get extra mileage out of anything you did for this party.

I know it's a busy time of year, so I'd like to make it easy to participate.  You wouldn't have to take photos, you could write about what your Dals are doing, too.

I just can't make a whole big setting and backdrop and so on, but I'm sure the girls can find some party food!

Sounds like a lot of fun! And since I have missed out on dolly time due to my schedule, but will be off between christmas and new years, the timing is perfect!!

I'll try to get an invitation in a new thread started in the next couple of days. Once my swap is out the door and I finish putting up my holiday decorations. Because yes, I'm way behind on doing things this year. I managed to hurt my foot over the Thanksgiving weekend and so I can't be on my feet or walk around a lot. Great timing on my part. Although it gives me an excuse to work from home.
