Owari's Gifts from CornflowerBlue and Twiggy

Sorry this took so very long.  I can only say, I'm so glad 2016 is over. XD

Me: "At long last!  Owari, you can open your gifts.  I finished and sent our gifts out."

Owari: "OMG I can't believe how long I have waited.  We literally ended up with a pair of puppies in the time it took you to finish the gifts you sent out.  And we got a surprise wig in the mail that I won't complain about, because it really suits me, don't you think?"

Me: "My apologies Owari.  Things just took longer than expected."

Owari: "I suppose it's ok.  I am excited to see what CornflowerBlue and Twiggy sent."

Owari: "There are so many little packages! They are super cutely wrapped too. Pups! Don't you go messing with them!"

Me: "CB wrote a very nice Christmas card too. And I have a vague memory of some chocolates that disappeared in the foggy haze while family was visiting. I wish it was a dream, but my hips tell me it wasn't."

Owari: "Tsk Tsk. If you just didn't eat, like me (except for the occasion sanguineous sip, of course) you wouldn't need to worry."

Me: "I love your ideas, but I love food, and especially chocolates far more."

Owari: *Squeeee!* "I have a familiar! Look how cute he is. He's called Tweakie P.. or maybe Coco, but I really like Tweakie P better."

Owari:  "Had to leave the eyepatch off. I thought my allergies would go, but Tweakie is hypoallergenic, so I can hug him and whisper my nefarious orders to him."

Me: "I think Rambu and Black Russian are a bit jealous Owari."

Owari: Whaat?  Knock it off pups! Minions shouldn't fight amongst each other. Tweakie is new, so he gets hugs to forge a powerful familial bond."

Me:  "How about the next present?  What cute Kitty ears!"

Owari:  "NekoMata Ears!  They remind me of dear mother.  Did you know she ate an entire wedding party once?"

Me: "Whaaat!!?  Do I need to be worried Owari?"

Owari:  "Oh no.  I like you. Plus you're already married. It wouldn't be much fun.  Do you think these ears make me look fierce?"

***After opening several small and one large package with stockings, a lovely pearl necklace with a black flower (you can't see in the photo) some amazing coolcat boots, and an incredible dress by CB, we have the reveal.***

Owari:  "How fine I look!  This dress is perfect.  It's elegant, mature, and yet still youthful and far more comfortable than my old dress, even though it was also lovely.  The skirt is a separate too, so I could wear a different one if I wanted.  Best of all, it is going to make Ende jealous."

Me: "It's stunning.  Beautiful workmanship, and all the accessories look wonderful together.  I think it suits you especially, and Ende will be happy for you."

Owari:  "... If you say so.  She needs to get out of her coffin soon. I could have showed her."

Me:" Ahh... she will. But she's still sleeping off the holiday bender."

Owari: "I vote the minions do it.  Tweakie, leave Black Russian alone! You don't want him to bite you, do you."

Me: *Sigh*  Thank you again, CB. It was a lovely card, and the gifts were perfect.

I did manage to get a photo with her necklace to the front. I put it together so late, I didn't realize it. Everything was really perfect for her. It was an excellent job from CornflowerBlue.

I'm glad that Owari likes her new outfit and familiar. I laughed when I saw the puppy's pants on him.  When I came across the black and gold fabric, I knew I had solved the problem of clashing with Owari's eyes.

The outfit looks amazing. I am impressed and will have to check out her patterns. I am usually a make my own type, but this year I failed miserably. (Partially dealing with a very slippery fabric, partially working with a sewing machine for the first time in ages.)

No prob on the caplet. It would have been cute, I am sure, but I understand being late and trying to get through it. -_- I was so late this year..
