March: Scavenger Hunt 2.0 - Challenge #2: Shoes!

For this challenge, you and your Dal or Byul will need to rummage through the recyclables and make a pair of shoes, slippers, or boots out of what you find there.  Then put them on her feet and take a photo of her wearing them.
1. You can use paper, cardboard, plastic, metal cans or anything else that would qualify as a recyclable material.  You may cut your materials up, as needed or leave as is, it's up to you.
2. You may use glue, wire, string, a ribbon, or whatever you need to assemble it and fasten it on your Dal's feet.  
3. You may embellish it if you like, but it's not necessary to complete this challenge.

Do they have to be PRETTY shoes, or can they be horrific abominations Misty duct-taped together for cosplay for laughs? ("AM I KAWAIIIIIII YET?")

It doesn't matter how awful or pretty they are, just so you use recyclables.

Wow.  There's a lot of work in that shot, just setting it up!  And she even has bows on her boots.  Fun photo!

I love the color of those boots & the bow accent. They seem like they'd be a little tricky to walk in, though. At the very least, that is definitely unique footwear!

Wow, those are some awesome, uh, boots? Hooray for another entry, too! If I remember correctly, things were slow to get started the last time we did the Scavenger Hunt.

These hot mess slip-ons are made out of newspaper and held together with glue. Serina is modeling them, and she is looking pretty underwhelmed.

I had to follow the link to Flickr so I could zoom in and fully appreciate their, uhm, hot messness.

Now I know why they make those signs in Hawaii, "Mahalo for removing your slippahs, and no take mo' bettah pair when you leave."

You do need insulated boots here this time of year, but Samantha doesn't look too impressed with the bubble-mailer chic.

Most practical made footwear so far!

The upside down wording is a nice touch!

Oh my gosh--those bubble mail boots are so cute. Serina would definitely end up leaving her slip-ons and making off with Samantha's boots.

Hilarity decided she wanted glass slippers "like Cinderella's." And she had to have her photo taken in the sun so you could see them "sparkle." Hers are made from the corners of a blueberry bin.

Thanks. They actually look better in person, but they are not very durable! And they kept blowing off!
