October - Every Day Life

This month the challenge is to show your Dals in YOUR every day life. Eating breakfast? Prop her against the orange juice and take a photo. Getting ready for bed? Show her helping you brush your teeth. These don't have to be great photos - just something to help you celebrate your doll love without too much trouble.

You can post any photo at any time, but we will have four suggestions to help inspire you.

And just a reminder that the Topic'it app can be used to post directly to the forum. (I know it has not worked for everyone, but it works for me.) So snap that photo, post to instagram, post to the forum.

There will be at least one winner/prize at the end.

'Work party' isn't as fun as it sounds... Minis helping with the stairwell makeover.  Stair decals are not easy to apply.

I wish all those helpers could really contribute to your worklife.

I am lucky to have a doll club in my community. Doll clubs are literally dying out all over as young doll collectors aren't joining them. Most of the members are older to much older than me, but it's fun to get together.

I did not take her to my reunion, although a number of my HS friends are Facebook friends and they see my dolls often enough. There were 900 people in my graduating class and about 200 at my reunion. It was a lot of fun.

Sorry for my absence! I've not posted anything yet, but I plan to. I just got back from Japan. Got caught in the super-typhoon, but our hotel withstood the storm perfectly fine!

Thanksgiving beach cleanup. Found the basket, filled it on the way back along the beach. Lookit all this crap. Penny, Samantha & Janice say, "Show some aloha for our planet and don't litter!"
