Smart Doll Stop Motion Animation

Some of those are really fun! I particularly liked the "drinking through a straw" clip. That was clever.

I noticed the animation got significantly more smooth over the course of two years. I guess the method takes some practice.

I wonder how it is done? The creator's website is off line, and I could not find a lot of technical info as I looked through comments and at the Instagram site.

Also, are the Smart Dolls modified in any way? While I find that they hold poses fairly well for still photos, the Smart Dolls are not exactly designed for small, incremental moves as are necessary for animation.
