November 2019

New blood this month. Dinosaur blood that is. I do not have a smartphone. I still think and write in mostly full sentences. Recently started writing to a couple pen pals. So, this is my idea for November:

I'm dreaming of:

This does not have to be a real dream - use your imagination.
Try out an idea, make up a short story, or have fun with us and pull our leg.

If you could go anywhere, do anything, or have an idea you would like to try out with your dolls what would it be?

Take them to an exotic local?
Go back or forward in time?
Visit someone special?
Or get silly and whatever.

Each full post (must include text) will count as an entry to the month end drawing. Multiple entries are encouraged.

The winner will be randomly selected. Not sure what the prize will be yet.

Going to Teslacon (Steampunk baby, yes) and having two dolls strapped to my thighs.  Picture the old west with a pair of six shooters strapped to your hips.

I want doll holsters where I can tie them in and everyone can see their outfits from 20 paces or more.

Or maybe a chest holster so the can ride higher up?

I'm a great fan of this program and would love to see the sets in Australia.

Thanks for hosting what is clearly a busy month for everyone, Karen. I'm still hoping to get one in, but I know for many people time gets increasingly taken up by the holidays as we approach Thanksgiving and Christmas. Next year maybe we will skip a challenge in November!

So sorry for some reason I thought there was no challenge this month and I focused on the swap. I love this show mrs phyrne fisher right ? I wish they made more seasons !! I wanted to make her doll often when we watched it on Netflix.

Everything is good. I also am busy with the swap.

Perhaps not quite what Karen had in mind, but here goes.

I’m dreaming of time – more time not only to do the things that need doing (cleaning the house, washing the dishes, decluttering) but also the things that don’t NEED doing (sorting through the doll things, taking doll photos, leisurely reading a magazine, taking a nap). Some of my feeling of too much-edness is because of the season - time seems to be compressed as Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year's approach. Some of it is how fast the years seem to go by as I get older.

I'm going with the theory that your metabolism slows down as you get older so therefore you perceive time passing faster.
That and the moon slowing down the earth (hey, even if it's a little bit!)

Dang, I hoped to do an entry but either forget or the light is crappy for what I wanted to do.

If Jane is okay with it, i am willing to extend to mid December.

That sound you hear is me squeeeeeaking in under the wire, because it's still November in this time zone for another half hour!!!

....returning to Hawaii as soon as possible.
Of course dolls would go on the voyage.

That's a dream I share - I'd like to return to Hawaii too.

I have never been to Hawaii. I think we need a mini convention there sometime soon.

Jane has not objected so let's keep this going through mid December. There will be a gift so let's hear about your dreams.

And it matches her headband. Now to start on outfits for Puddle

I have headbands to match almost any outfit.

I tried to take photos against a black background and her hair kept coming out almost glowing white. Weird.
