I love the carved stone wall background in the October pic! The weathering is superb. Did you make that?
Lovely autumnal tones in the November pic. I like the gently flowing drape of the skirt portion of the dress.

Cute pic of the grey-haired one. I like her little smile.
Your bush is a great fall-photo background.

Ha! The stone carved wall is contact paper on foam board. The flowing dress is from Etsy seller EliteDollWorld. My 20 something year old sewing machine is no longer cooperating when it comes to sewing knits. I'd buy a new one, except I keep blowing my money on dolls.davidd wrote:I love the carved stone wall background in the October pic! The weathering is superb. Did you make that?

Thanks Alliecat! Fox is a boy. Except I don't have a boy body for him. Doll Angel did his faceup.

The Smart Doll Family has continued to expand.
Plum, another Doll Angel custom (head).
Rawnie, interstellar blue Anomaly, zombie girl dressed for Halloween.
More Halloween
Semi-Real Fortitude (head) with my japanese maple in its fall glory.
The holidays brought a tea Chitose (head) to join the milk one I already have.
Oops, cinnamon Chitose Multiverse (head), too.
For a movie theme, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, including Dimension in the updo.
Two Chitoses, double trouble.
Envisage (head)
Kizuna (head), Ambition (head), Custom CAL (head) by Chiitaake, interstellar blue Prowess

Another of tea Chi
Tara (Challenge) finally got some new eyes that don't glow red in photos.
Envisage with Gemini, and I really don't care for him in his stock wig. I've got to do something about that soon.
I saw a MyFroggyStuff video where she used hot glue in a silicone mold, so I gave it a try with a brain shaped mold. Results are not too bad.
Rawnie with her demented buns.
Another Doll Angel Custom CAL sculpt. Although I came by her second hand as opposed to the other that she either did to my specs or was selling.

Who's missing? Another custom boy by Doll Angel, Vision (head), Strength (head), Prowess (head), Onward (head), and North (head). Then there are some blank heads that need to be customized, which if my blank bjds are any example, may take quite awhile to get done.

Zombie Girl makes an excellent mummy!
And I love the "brains" top... and the hot glue mini brain!
I gather from the text you have more heads than bodies. Are the heads on display? Like on miniature pikes in front of a Tower of London backdrop? Or in jars on your lab table? Or do you keep the extra heads safely stored away, out of sight, until they come out to play?

Forti and Strength are my favs of the Semi-Reals. But I know Strength's thicker eyebrows aren't to everyone's tasteTrueFan wrote:Your Fortitude makes me want Fortitude in Gray even more.
I found the brains print on Spoonflower and made the top using a MyLittleDollStory pattern.
Those Smarties take up too much room for everyone to have a body. I would like to come up with a display for them. But right now, the ones not on a bod are in their original bags. I have a shelf on the wall by my sewing machine and it has pegs below it and they are hanging from them.
One collector uses an ornament box with dividers to store her head collection in. I would like something I could mount on the wall, but has a door/cover to keep the dust out.

Re: CB's Smarties
Have you seen the Adyka bodies for Smart Dolls and Dolfie Dreams? They're vinyl covered and relatively seamless for an even more realistic look. This is not one, though.

There's also a 1/3-scale limited production seamless doll called SolaraDoll:

Re: CB's Smarties
I don't know if I'd like the silicone dolls. Everything I read about them from people who have them, talk about how they can feel sticky or collect dust and then you feel the dust.
Anime version of North
Onward in a Dollgerie school uniform
Then Kizuna gave the uniform a try
Fashion show catwalk
Prowess x 2
Smoothies!

Anime/North is lovely! Onward looks quite chic in her uniform.
Smarties with Smoothies... hmmm... maybe another crew to have their own show, a cooking program airing after davidd's Smarts & Crafts

Re: CB's Smarties
So the problem with Smart Dolls is I have all these 1/6 size props and not much their size which limits the story options.
I've been taking a lot of Smart Doll photos because I joined My Lady Disdain's Discord, forum? or whatever you would call it. There's a weekly photo theme for the "Smarty Party" which then plays during their live broadcasts on Mondays of Smart Doll news. This week it's for bright colors and I thought this pink beehive wig from the defunct company Monique would be perfect and went from there.

Cute. Happy belated Easter.
I guess in the absence of props you could take them outside for story ideas.
