Coming back once and for all (I hope!)
Hello!
This must be the third time I introduce myself here, but I haven't posted since 2010(!) and I'm sure there has been a lot of new people since then so it feels like the right thing to do it again.
My name is Diana, I'm from Spain and -I guess as everyone here- I LOVE Dals. I have 16 of them at the moment (you can see them all in my signature) and I'm not really planning on increasing my doll family, though I know it's going to be hard to resist the temptation when I start watching so many beauties in this forum again... I guess it's good for me my current financial situation doesn't allow me to buy more dolls (the last one came home at the end of 2009). In any case, I'd like to pay more attention and focus in the ones I already have, they have been neglected way too much during these past years and I've been missing them a lot as well as this forum, always such a fun, friendly and cozy place Can't wait to start sharing my love for Dals with you all again.
Oh, and besides Dals, I also own Pullips, a few Taeyangs and Blythes, a Byul, a BJD and a bunch of other types of dolls but, you know, Dal is the best
So nice to meet you (again) and see you around the forum!

Sakyune! It's so great to see you here! I have missed you on the forum and think about you sometimes. So glad to hear you still have your love of Dals. Welcome back!!!
Re: Coming back once and for all (I hope!)
Thank you both!
@TrueFan, aw, you almost made me tear up a little I've been remembering you sometimes too (how could I NOT remember the Dal Queen!), I still keep your letters and my Milch has been all these years holding the little Doll Reader magazine that you sent me. Your passion for Dals is just so infectious it always makes me love them even more (and I thank you for that)
Oh, I have one question: what is happening with Dal releases? I was just lurking around the forum a few days ago and read some complaints in some thread about the lack of releases in 2014 - then I looked it up and saw there had been only two!?! Isn't there a fix schedule anymore, like in the old days?? I thought Dal was more popular than that

We don't really know what has happened, but there is clearly something not good going on between Groove and Ars Gratia Artis. There is not a fixed schedule, and announcements of new releases are only a month or so in advance. Some distributor dumped a lot of dolls at way below cost, and they have been showing up for $40 each, so that has really hurt Dal sales. Ironically though, it has created more Dal fans!sakyune wrote:Oh, I have one question: what is happening with Dal releases? @scrapsoflife, thank you so much

Dals for $40??? and I missed the chance! Well, while it's REALLY nice this has brought more people to the Dal Side, let's not forget what companies want is money, so I hope this has been just an isolated incident and we get more Dal releases in the near futureTrueFan wrote:We don't really know what has happened, but there is clearly something not good going on between Groove and Ars Gratia Artis.
