Intro thread

Gentlemen... and ladies... start your engines!

Starting in pole position, Dal Lipoca is on the track and ready to race! After taking a month off... to give the other Dals and friends a sporting chance in the previous round... Lipoca is back and she's ready to rumble!

She also cleverly figures that if she's the only contestant to make the... wait... what? The entry deadline is September ninth, not August ninth? Aww, maaaannn!!!!


Oh well, doesn't matter. GO TEAM LIPOCA!

"Hi, Shae the Sooni here. I managed to get KiraKira pulled away from the sewing machine long enough to get my photo taken so I can enter this contest. KiraKira's been sewing masks for awhile now--she said something about a pandemic? Don't know what that is, but it makes me glad I'm not a human.

I thought I'd give this contest a shot. Not sure how all those colors will make me look--purple hair is not the easiest to coordinate, but I figure I can pull it off. I am a great observer, an excellent listener, and I always know all the latest gossip going around."

Samantha wants to play, in spite of the computer issues the PrettyTiny Film Company HQ has been struggling with all summer.  She joined the crew at PUDDLE 2018.  She's a little self-conscious about being the only big Dal in the gang, but, at least, we keep reminding her, she's not way taller than everyone else and blue.
She does have mini sisters, and her Pullip sisters look out for her too.  She seems a little standoffish and demure at first, but, she actually has a good sense of fun; she enjoys outdoor adventures and loves nature.

Benny is an easy going girl, who loves animals, nature and hanging out with her friends. She's also not afraid to try new things and is the first one to volunteer for adventures.  Benny says: "A Dal House Forum Contest, bring it on!"

I am going to be out of town for at least two weeks, probably without Internet access. Lipoca is not pleased, but it appears she will not be participating after all; or at least, not in the initial two or three weeks.

Orange is correct AND it's fine if you judge later than August 23. Also, if you do manage to get your photos/colors done before you leave you are welcome to message me links or email me the photos and I'll post them for you while you are gone.
