Elfy's Doll a Week 2022

Hi. I used to post these over at Dolly Market, but that seems to be in serious trouble now, so I've migrated here. This photo requires some explanation. My last week's picture had Yari (she's a Dal) and her friends, Rusty (a crocheted fox) and Garry (a crocheted dachshund) going hunting. People over there wondered what they would find, if anything. This is the result.

They found Eunice (a crocheted sheep), she's rather larger than they expected and they've got quite a shock.

No, I/we didn't crochet them all. Lejays is the one who does clever things with wool. She's learning to crochet, hopefully things like Rusty, Garry and Ewenice will be the end result of that. We bought them from a local seller at a couple of markets she attends.

As far Yari standing up well, knitting needles have many uses (thanks for the tip, Allie).
Apologies for being MIA. We went on holidays and the weather turned and we're really busy. We're playing softball in Shepparton this weekend for the first time in 2 years, so I'll probaly get back to the Doll a Week next week sometime hopefully.

Forks are also helpful for helping dolls stand!

I do apologise for the lack of weekly pics. Like I said earlier things have been really crazy. Now I have to work out how to post the pics again. I'll sort that out and come back here with a few to make up for the absence.
