February: Getting to Know You Daily Photo Challenge

February is the shortest month of the year, but we'll try to pack it full of fun.

I'll post a daily theme--so because this is a leap year, there will be 29 different themes.  All you have to do is take a photo that fits the theme and post it to this thread to participate.  


RULES
1) Please stick with ONE Dal for the entire month; that way we'll learn a little more about her (or him if your Dal is a boy) as this challenge goes on.

2) Any other dolls are welcome to be in the photos along with your chosen Dal.

3) You have the entire month of February to get your themed photos in. So if you wanted to wait until February 29 to post all 29 photos, that's totally fine.

4) Absolute last day to post photos is March 01, 2020 anywhere in the world.Be sure to label each photo you post with the theme.

5) Each photo posted counts as an entry into the lucky drawing at the end. Drawing will take place on March 02, 2020 or a little bit after, depending on how busy (or distracted) I am.

6) Commenting on others' posted photos are encouraged!

Any questions can be PMed or posted to this thread and I'll be sure to answer as soon as I'm able.

This sounds like fun!

So to get things started, here are a couple of photos.  As the host for this month's challenge, I am deeming myself INELIGIBLE for the lucky drawing, haha.

My Favorite Shoes

Sparkly, pretty, and pink.  'Nuff said.

Sports

The big game is tomorrow! While the Panthers are sadly not in it again, that still does not stop us from watching the Super Bowl and picking a team.  Uh oh—someone’s gonna be disappointed with the outcome. The 49ers and the Chiefs can’t both win.

Not a football fan but those shoes are adorable!! Your little fans are cute but she looks like she has a little more confidence in her team than he does.
I hope to do a few photos but it's going to be a busy month.

Ahhh....those Eeyore boots are adorable! And so practical in the snow!

Love those pink shoes, Kira Kira! Eeyore boots are cute, too. It's not that hard to glue beads or sparkly stuff to shoes and I've been thinking that I should start embellishing some of my plain dolly footwear to match some of their outfits.

Adipose is cute--is he supposed to be a fat cell? That's the only context I know the word 'adipose' from. Adorable photo of Royal & her fluffy pal.

Also, I added themes up til February 7 since I admit I can get a little distracted and I may forget a few days otherwise. Feel free to take photos from any of the posted theme and put it up at your leisure. If the theme is posted, it is certainly alright to post to this thread, even if the exact date is not here yet.

Thanks! I got him in a DHF swap one year!

The Adipose is from one of the weirdest Doctor Who episodes EVER. They are indeed sentient blobs of fat.

My Favorite Shoes

Sorry for the oddly shaped photo... this was my second attempt, and already Gloriana's flyaway hair is driving me nuts. In both shoots I thought it looked fine until I actually had the pictures on my screen, where it looked a complete mess. The second time around I just got creative with my cropping...

I am so happy to see all the photos posted!

CornflowerBlue and dargosmydaddy, I adore the “fluffy” photos—very smart ideas to get other Dals’ fluffy hairstyles involved.

Alliecat, the bike is so detailed. I love the realistic touch it gives the shot.

Those tiny Pixar props are really neat. And those Star Trek uniforms are really cool. The tribble is a fun little touch, too.

As for me, I’ve not had the energy to do any photos. Still feeling under the weather. Slightly better, but not quite right yet.

I added daily themes up til the 21st of February--only because I'll have guests from out-of-town staying with me and it's my daughter's birthday during the weekend, so I may not get to it otherwise.

I have a fondness for the Rement donuts because they were my first Rement.

It figures that Alliecat's dolls would be after a healthy snack.
