It's Dal's 10th anniversary!

Dal doll was introduced in 2006, so 2016 is her 10th anniversary! The Dal House Forum will be holding events throughout the year to celebrate our favorite little sister. Anyone can participate!

Each participant will receive a virtual raffle for each event he or she participates in, and at the end we will draw tickets and give away prizes (to be announced).

It's been a while since I've been here!  I've been mostly hanging out on FB, though, and admittedly that is a bit distracting.  I haven't totally forgotten about The Dal House though.  I did an entry for the Dal/Taeyang 10th anniversary illustration contest, but their instructions were so vague I didn't want to post it somewhere, and accidentally do something wrong.  Well it's been more than a month with no word of whether my entry was accepted, or even what's going on with the contest at all, so I figured I would post it here, for you guys enjoyment.  I was inspired by the Taisho Era Romance genre, that is kind of popular right now.  (If the colors look a bit weird, I apologize. I worked on my tablet and my desktop, and the colors looked wildly different between them, so I have no idea what it will actually look like.)  Sorry, it is on my google drive, so I can't figure out how to actually attach a viewable image.

It's wonderful! I had no idea where to start with that contest and they didn't respond to anyone's questions for clarification. I hope you do well in the contest.

Thank you. Honestly, communication is not their strong suit. I just guessed on what they might be looking for, and made a pair of designs that could act as a subtle hint for future ideas. :-D I turned my entry in on the proper date... in the US, which means it would have been past the proper date in Korea, and I never received any acknowledgement that they got it. So who knows? It's not like they have posted anything since. Interestingly someone else posted that they had entered the art contest for Pullip's 10th Anniversary, and it was also really lacking in organization and communication too.
