April: Earth Day photo challenge

Since we have not had a lot of sign-ups for the Earth Day swap (you can still sign up through 4/8!), I'm doing a second April challenge.

Post a photo or drawing that could serve as an Earth Day card or to celebrate Earth Day. All dolls welcome as long as a Dal or Byul is in the photo. If you draw or paint a card, you can take a photo of your doll with the card, but you don't HAVE to include a card in the photo. Any nature-y photo will meet the challenge.

Post by May 1.

Oh man I admit to forgetting about this one. Absolutely swamped this month. Plus there's the fact it doesn't look spring-y at all here yet.

I hear you. We are behind where I live and I imagine it is worse where you are.

Eiri says don't get rid of the dandelions! They are an important food for many insects and birds.

Oh look at the greenery. Even if it's weeds. My yard is still brown, but I did see one little dandelion right up against the foundation on the sunny side of the house. Eiri would love my yard… Tons and tons of flowering weeds. And I'm with you about letting them grow! Very cute photo.

Things are behind here but still greening up. I had to mow on Friday.

I took the photo before May 1, although I'm slow to post.

I kept meaning to take a different picture, but this was one I took at the beginning of the month (April, that is)... the daffodil sprang up in a crack in my driveway.

Wow, I'm always so envious of others' flowers this time of year. And "bloom wherever you can" is good advice!
Pinky is cute and the lighting & spring colours are llovely!
