Hi there. It's me again, fashionably late as usual. I've been a bit busy and stretched a little thin, but hopefully this challenge that I signed up to host will help me get back into the habit or visiting this forum more regularly.

Welcome to the This or That Photo Challenge. I'm posting a variety of this-or-that themes and you just need to select one of the two concepts that are in each theme, then post a photo that conveys your selection.


  • Enter as many photos as you have time for (one photo per theme).
  • Photos can be posted in any order--just be sure to label your post with which theme it is for.
  • Each photo counts as one entry in the prize drawing at the end of the month.
  • The photos aren't judged--the whole point is to engage in the doll hobby.
  • Deadline to post is May 31.
  • Open to any doll, not just Dal. However, your entry will get a bonus point if a Dal appears in the photo.


I think that's pretty much it. If there are any questions or I'm not being clear, you can ask in this topic or shoot me a PM and I will answer.

These are fun prompt ideas. Dang, this month is just whooshing by and I am not getting around to taking pictures!
(Ugh, I should not try to do forums on my phone. I think I might have mis-clicked a dislike on someone’s post; if so, it was not intentional! I tried to find and reverse it.)

Dangit, I really wanted to participate... Especially since these are such great ideas.  But I am absolutely slammed with Major Yard Projects; for example worked till dark tonight & had supper at 10.  I wish these were in another month!

Sadly, I thought I took a tea/ coffee picture with Violet (the only one of my Dals who hasn't yet appeared in the challenge), but my camera appears to have eaten it. So I'm going to try to re-take that one tomorrow, as well as a grand finale for picture 16!
