July 2021 Photo Challenge - Double Vision

Double Vision
This challenge is to find a photo for each theme and recreate it with your Dal or Byul. You may include other dolls and toys, but a Dal or Byul should be the focal character. You will need to either post the original photo you are duplicating or a link to it, so we can have fun comparing your version to the original. They can be done in any order and you can do as many as you would like and multiples of the same theme if you would like. You could do all wildcards if you would like. You may also use photo editing special effects, too.

1. Black & White - Select a black and white photo, either of something or someone historical or from movies and tv. If you camera or phone doesn't have a B&W feature, you can use https://ipiccy.com/ where you can upload and change the photo. You don't have to create an account for many of it's features.

2. Music - Select a photo of someone singing, playing an instrument, a band, or anything else music related and recreate the photo with your Dal or Byul.

3. Art - Select a photo of a painting or sculpture and recreate it with you Dal or Byul.

4. SciFi/Space - Select a photo of something from a SciFi movie or tv show or a Space photo and recreate it with your Dal or Byul.

5. Cartoon or Anime - Select a photo from a cartoon or anime and recreate it with your Dal or Byul.

6. Wildcard - Select any photo you want and recreate it with your Dal or Byul

I got the idea from a contest at work. But in that case, they provided the photos you had to use.

These are fun ideas. Writing the prompts down to stick on the fridge in hopes it will remind me to get at least a couple done.

Admittedly a very loose interpretation!!  
I could've lugged a tripod to the beach to try to suspend a couple more dolls, but with the tide going down about a foot every 15 minutes, it was bad enough trying to get some water safely in the shot!!

Samantha Skywalker looks terrific (and accurate), and your version of "Birth of Venus" would make a lovely postcard

Ugh, I don't think my photography skills (and prop repertoire) are up to this challenge! I tried the black and white photo, but it didn't come out as well as I hoped, so I think I'm going to try it again tomorrow.

My wildcard entry isn't much better, but I'm posting it anyway...

That was a complete fluke

Take two of the black and white picture was another failure. I might try a third time with a different mode... Or I should probably just look for a new photo, but I really want this one to  work out.

In the mean time, I attempted prompt #3...
