Wow, that's a big lot! I was lucky to be able to sell mine one at a time. My community has a Railroad Days weekend once a year, and it includes a train and toy sale. I often have a booth and am one of the only people selling dolls.

Mattel Monster High doll display at a Walmart store. The Monster High line is being re-introduced as a Walmart exclusive a decade after the original launch.

It was fun to see a significant Monster High display once again. While similar at first glance to the original dolls, the box design is slightly different, less suggestive of a coffin, and the eyes of the dolls appear smaller to me, making them less "cute." The costumes look nearly identical to the originals.

All four dolls were in stock in similar numbers.

Nice to see MH making a comeback. Lejays and I are also both banned from Dolly Market.

Yes, I felt a pleasant nostalgia rush seeing an entire endcap in the toy aisle filled with Monster High figures -- and it looks like they're getting some interest!

I need to visit Walmart. (Although, Ghoulia is my favorite, so meh.)

MH collectors will be happy to see a reboot.
Dolly Market is back up.

The Doctor Evil pic was for an interactive photo-story on another forum. Odd thing, it seems like the "action figure" forums are somewhat livelier with more back-and-forth interactivity than the doll forums these days.

Back in Ye Olden Tymes of three or five or seven years ago, the doll forums were much more interactive, while the action figure forums were more about static "pics of figs" posts. That seems to have reversed, to an extent.

I've tried to encourage some of the action figure people to at least give Dal House or Dolly Market a try, but the "doll thang" seems to turn them off.

Maybe we could try to start an interactive topic at Dal House or Spammy Market Forum. The "Pullip Train" topic is interactive, and it's a lot of fun when it's rolling, but it seems to have been shunted to a siding for a while now.

Anyway, here's a grim and gritty dolly pic illustrating how I would like to have seen the Ever After High line marketed:
