July photo challenges !

Hello!
It is July already ! I hope to bring fun subjects and get a lot of you taking photos and posting them here.

I will pick some gifts for each week but please forgive me as I am still trying to clean up my doll room I will start sewing soon and make some fancy gifts for our beautiful Dals:)

First week theme : appreciate the Dal cuteness!
When my son was a new born, I used to take photo of his littles toes and ears, etc.
Then I combined them in a single photo and to this that it is one my most favorite collage. Let’s make a similar one for Dal. Her delicate hands, her adorable ears, her unsettling gaze ! Please pick one part of Dal you love and highlight in a photo.

This is a beautiful photo and what a lovely little nose !

Well, I already knew the micro function on my current camera is terrible and this exercise is really reminding me of that fact. I will try again but was not too successful my first try. There is a particular feature I tried and failed to capture, but for now I will appreciate that little worry line next to Dal's mouth! It runs from the edge of her lip down to her chin.

I can not take close-up photos for anything. I tried yesterday and they are all a blurry mess

Maybe you tried it, but, can you shoot as close-up as possible and then crop for the detail you want, or is that blurry too?

I tried that this time and it did not work. But I will try again! I've even thought of hunting up my old camera (and batteries, lol) that DID have a good micro function.

Most camera have a limitation on how close you can go. But the photos don’t need to be macro , for example I took this one

Sick in summer! That poor little girl! I always remember being super sick on my birthday when I was at dal’s age.

You know, I never really knew how tiny Dal's ears were until I saw these photos. Usually I just slap wigs on the girls and call it a day. Dal does have strangely adorable ears.

I appreciate how Dal's little hand fits perfectly inside Taeyang's big hand.

Just a reminder week 2 challenge is a “sick little girl “
Week 3 challenge is ; “ gardening adventures” yes it is too hot to go out but I hope we all can find 5 mins to snap a photo

Garden theme was well timed, as I've been overhauling the kitchen plant corner.  Major cleaning and repotting job, and it really was just 5 minutes because at this point the mosquitoes were horrible again, or I'd have added the minis to the scene as well.

Truefan that is so true! It is really cute ! I never noticed it before.

Alliecat I am glad you got some help! You guys seems to be very busy !

CC (Cotton Candy) was one of my very first Dals, and one of my first modified Dals. She is my only Dal who has her own room. She was created in the memory of a high school friend who died of leukemia.

First week's theme:

After my attempts to focus on small details (namely Lyla's gorgeous eyes and Katoya's tattoo) were foiled by my camera, I decided to think "big picture" and landed on... hair!

I end up rewigging the majority of my Groove dolls, but I realized that I have more Dals with stock wigs (four) than any other type of Pullip family dolls in my collection. Dals have some really nice hair, and my favorite remains Loa's. Here is Addalee showing off her luscious locks (and my crappy camera does not pick up the lovely blonde highlights she has....).
