A problem with adding another Smart Doll to the crew is that Smart Dolls like to have clothes, which are not included... particularly with pre-owned, or re-homed, dolls.

Actually... back when I purchased my original Smart Dolls, purchasing a clothing package including a top, bottom, and shoes was an option. That is not longer the case in Smart Doll Land. No package deals. No bundles. And... most of the clothing, especially the shoes, isn't as nice as it was just a couple of years ago. I should have just bought the New Girl an orange jumpsuit and called it good, but she really wanted eyeglasses... because she's a "Kanata"... and after hours spent looking on line, she... or maybe it was I... realized that finding aftermarket eyeglasses that fit Smart Dolls is challenging, and even the ones that fit don't actually look as good as the genuine Smart Doll Store Kanata Eyeglasses. Glasses were the only thing I needed, but it seemed silly to spend the outlandish overseas shipping for only a teeny tiny set of eyeglasses frames, so... well, I'm sure most of you know how that scenario plays out.

I was watching both of these Kenna Roswell figures on eBay, and the sellers each offered to sell them for $12 USD... including shipping. That is less than they originally cost in the stores. In fact, at $12, I suspect the sellers lost money after paying shipping and eBay fees.

A friend on another forum has been wanting the clothing from a Kenna figure, so that is where one of the outfits is headed. I've needed another Kenna costume for a project of my own.

The face sculpt on the seamless custom version lacks the cheerful side-eye perkiness of the original. I have another head with blue-ish hair that I'll try... if I can find it.

Same side-eye. There was only a single Wild Hearts Crew release, so no variations on the five core characters.

I thought there might be variations in the printing, so there'd be like a fun challenge in finding one whose eyes were different, like a stamp misprint, haha.

A number of members on an action figure forum to which I belong seemed surprised, and even shocked, that I was so bold as to...   ... take my action figures (aka dolls) out in public, and to a restaurant no less! I guess, having "grown up" on the Pinky-Street forum, doing things like this seems pretty much normal. Gosh, I miss those fun-filled days when Pinky Street Fandom was in full swing!

Are we going to see some of these new adventure figures in a story?

The little camera is from an IDEAL Toys Tammy doll from the 1960s. It's a well detailed little model made of metal.

I'm a little behind on the forum and your photos. Loved the series on the lol cats, especially the Arte Johnson/Laugh In scene.

I do like the Smart Doll clothing, but it's so expensive. If you want to avoid the overseas shipping, Iris at Fabric Friends and Dolls is an authorized dealer where you can find most of the stuff in the Smart Doll line.
