Fun library setting!

Is it... a haunted library?  

Actually, is it a printed or scrapbooking paper background?

And is Button one of those super annoying people who have their headphones cranked up so loud that everyone around them can hear what they're listening to?

Actually, nobody wears headphones anymore, do they? Everyone walks around with those silly antenna things stuck out of the sides of their heads.

Anyway, Button looks cute. I like her. Is she still hanging out in the library, spilling her coffee on the books and playing her music too loud?

It IS a haunted library. Also a photo I found online that I printed and pasted on to cardboard to use as a background. (And use and use and use.)

No doll of mine would be allowed to have their headphones or earbuds cranked up so that everyone can hear their music. If I ever kill anyone, know that it was because they were doing that and I snapped. Hearing faint tinny music out of earbuds makes me homicidal. ("You can hear that?!" Yes, it's so loud I can sing along!)

She is also super not allowed to spill her coffee on books. (Although I spilled a cup all over my dress earlier this week.)

The Brothers Lir look amazingly cool in their uniforms! The whole family looks like... well, I love the Whispering Island title! I picture them being the light-keeper's family at a remote station in the 1890s.

Whispering Island Light Station - oh! That is such an awesome concept! But at seven-hunnert bucks for Red Lir and four-hunntert for Blue Lir on the secondary market... I think I will leave this concept to you for further development!

My true life's goal when I was young was to become a lighthouse keeper. By the time I was old enough to be seriously thinking about careers, keepers had been phased out, and I would have had to join the Coast Guard, but the Coast Guard had a hiring freeze in place at the time I graduated high school, and... I guess I wasn't ambitious enough to try very hard.

Building a Haunted Library setting will be on my annual goal list once again. Maybe I should start the way you did, with a print-out.

Every one in my house likes everything loud, I am discovering that I am a person who likes quiet and does not like feeling like I am being shouted at by all the appliances at once! I might go hang out with button in a nice quiet haunted library! Merl has a very pretty face but once again the Dal takes the spotlight.

It does seem like our world has just gotten so loud.

Being a lightkeeper sounds like a romantic job. Probably would get lonely though.

My, what big eyes you have, my dear!

Do all Dal's have the same basic face sculpt, or do some have larger eyes than others?

Is it her hairstyle, faceup, and the camera angle that accentuate LeBeau's eyes to such an extent? Or is she a slightly different design?

So far as I know they all have the same head sculpt and eye sockets. Must just be her beauty! (I love Kanta's faceup.)

Somewhere there is a cute video of "Santa Claus" talking to kids on the VHF from a nearby lighthouse.  I can't find it.  Anyway, you might like this; this is the guy who shot the video, and I've seen his summer museum presentations here 2 or 3 times.

I wish the loudest thing I had to deal with was someone's tinny earphones.  I'd trade all the tinny earphones in the world for slamming dump truck tailgates and roaring backhoes and rattling equipment trailers

The soft pastel colours give her a sweet look but her eyebrows have some attitude to them!
I think they had one of the UK blythecons in a lighthouse one year, it was actually in the city I was living in at the time and I didn't find out until after it happened it doesn't come to Scotland very often

I love Kanta's eyebrows.

Never paid too much attention to Katoya, but I saw someone else's Katoya with different wig posted on a doll Discord I'm a member at, and I never realized how pretty the model actually was! I was planning to get her myself, too, since she's cheaply available on PullipStyle now, but I ended up getting some other dolls instead. I'm thinking of getting my 8th Dal at some point, so maybe I'll end up buying one, too?

Your Katoya's look so pretty! I'm actually somewhat surprised in how many different styles the model actually works! Love the stock tattoo as well. If I remember correctly, all the dolls in this "ninja series" had one. I love little special things on dolls like those!

The other thing about Katoya is that she's incredibly photogenic.
