A doll as often as I get around to posting..... 2022-2023

I have a few modified Fioris. Here is Cotton Candy.

The pink hair works really well, I think because the color is more of a muted tint, and the texture looks soft... like cotton candy (or candy floss for our non-USA friends).

The eyeglasses are totes adorbs. No doubt it is their exquisite taste in eyewear fashion that allowed a bond to develop between these two!

Are they as intellectual and reserved as they appear, or are they party animals after dark?

It's actually Papin's stock wig, and I quite like it on Fiori. It's mohair and very soft indeed. My cat Knightley is obsessed with her doll and steals it every chance he gets.

I bought the glasses on ebay years ago and wish I'd bought a dozen pair. They are the best glasses for Dal ever.

Valancy has been known to get into trouble. Honor is usually trying to keep her out of it.

I always thought Fiori's little doll was the cutest thing, even though she looks kinda sad.  And the glasses are terrific.

Your Dals' names are endlessly entertaining.  
Is she named for the cat, the familiar spirit, or... the missile...??  
Or does she just like demolishing... pie.

Gloomy is the Dal that almost broke my streak of purchasing every Dal. I had never heard of Gloomy Bear and - what the heck.

But the Dal was cuter in person than I expected. Here is Disconsolate.

The poofy animal costumes & hats are my least favourite thing about Pullip & co. (well, OK, maybe tied with T3 wrists) (and pleather) Well anyway, I always much prefer the dolls out of those outfits. The dress & wig in the top pic are so cute on her.

I love the Thankful Peabody Thanksgiving-esque scene... and the adorable little pie safe with  screened doors in the background!

I remember people being very divided whether they liked Gloomy or not... the character is quite macabre, so I can easily understand why it is probably not for everyone. But it does have interesting, plain makeup, and your Gloomys look so cute! If you ignore that bear costume, this doll is actually pretty versatile.

I am also not a fan of the animal suits. I mean, Monomono's is okay, but Darony's is insane.

My minis who came with plushy outfits have never got back into them either.

Jun Planning and Groove do seem to love dolls in animal suits. And this isn't even all the Dals!

What's the deal with all the cool guy-doll shirts showing up on this forum all of a sudden? I'm envying the Lives of Dolls. That's a rather sad statement about me, I'd say.

Bailey has pretty grey eyes!

It's a Ken shirt, I'm pretty sure. And Bailey has MJ eyes. I often rechip a second Dal to match the eyes of whichever Taeyang I've given her as a brother.

MJ's stock wig is ridiculous. That's why I got mine a pink wig.

Caramello was formerly a Hangry. I was practicing freckles on her, planning to turn her into a custom animal later, and decided I liked her over-the-top freckly look! So she's more modified than most of my modified Dals.
